The DK Foundation is funding research to investigate the efficiency of a select group of chemicals used in moisture swing absorption and to develop a universal carbon credit and MRV framework for CDR startups to adopt. Our work is affiliated with Professor Klaus Lackner, the Director of the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.

Professor Lackner's research interests include:
-
carbon cycle by capturing carbon dioxide from the air
-
carbon sequestration
-
carbon foot-printing
-
innovative energy and infrastructure systems and their scaling properties
-
the role of automation
-
robotics and mass-manufacturing in downscaling infrastructure systems
-
energy and environmental policy.
